Arvind Kejriwal termed the inauguration of Ahmedabad party office a turning point in Gujarat politics.
ARVIND KEJRIWAL-The supremo of AAM AADMI PARTY will inaugurate the part office at Ahmedabad on Monday. But more than that exjournalist of TV media, Mr. Isudaan Gadhavi will officially join the AAP in presence of Arvind Kejriwal. This move is termed as turning point even by Arvind Kejriwal in his video statement broadcast by him on Sunday.
Aam Aadmi Party became an opposition party by winning about 23 seats in Surat Municipal elections. With this grand victory in Gujarat- the testing lab of BJP, it was expected that soon the party will start vigorous exercise to establish the party across Gujarat.
While AAM AADMI PARTY chief Gopal Italia has been aggressive in Surat. But , Ahmedabadbad-the home town of political a activities was lacking behind along with Saurastra. The party wanted a face who could cater rural as well as semi urban audience. AAP started the search and found Isudaan Gadhavi, a 39 year old journalist ,who had become a popular face in rural as well as semi urban area due to his signature television talk show MAHAMANTHAN broadcasted on VTV . The programme broke all TRP records in Gujarat and VTV got huge viewer ship due to this talk show.
It’s not just Ahmedabadbad ,but AAP has been actively expanding in Vadodara .
A stronch BJP member Advocate Shital Upadhyay recently joined aap at Vadodara.
Suddenly Isudaan Gadhavi announced retirement from journalism in end of May, and since then he was expected to join the AAP . But finally Isudaan Gadhavi will join AAP and is expected to be given an important role in the party.
On the other side, Vadodara also witnessed some major political activities, when Advocate Shital Upadhyay a stronch BJP member , a social worker said Good Bye and joined AAP as Joint Secretary of Vadodara. It is to be noted at this juncture that Shital Upadhyay’s mother is ex corporator from BJP, and the entire family has been root workers of BJP in Vadodara. It is believed that Advocate Shital Upadhyay played a pivotal role in the victory of Shailesh Sotta against Siddharth Patel on Dabhoi seat in the assembly elections.
On the Eve of Kejriwal’s arrival, the party workers in Ahmedabad were seen busy convincing many intellectuals to join the AAP in Monday. It is also believed that members of BJP and Congress will join the AAP in the presence of AK on Monday.
