Tata has announced ₹1 crore compensation for each family who lost a loved one in the Air India Flight AI171 crash in Ahmedabad. The London-bound flight, carrying 242 people, crashed shortly after takeoff on June 12, slamming into the doctors’ hostel at BJ Medical College. Tata Group will also cover medical expenses for the injured and support rebuilding the damaged hostel.
