Vamika to see her Father’s first test in Ahmedabad: Anushka and Vamika arrives in Ahmedabad

Anushka Sharma has arrived in Ahmedabad with her baby girl Vamika. The mother-daughter duo are accompanying Virat Kohli, who is leading India cricket team for today’s match against England in Motera Cricket Stadium. Virat and Anushka welcomed their daughter, Vamika, on January 11. It seems the cricketer doesn’t want to live away from his baby girl.

ANUSHKA SHARMA IN AHMEDABAD WITH VAMIKA

Anushka Sharma and Virat Kohli’s daughter Vamika is just a month old and she has started touring with her dad. The newborn is currently in Ahmedabad where her dad has a cricket match against England cricket team. The two teams will be facing each other today, February 24, in Motera Cricket Stadium in the city. Anushka arrived with baby Vamika in Ahmedabad to cheer for Virat, who is the captain of Indian cricket team. The cricketer was on a paternity leave and missed many tournaments.

VIRAT AND ANUSHKA INTRODUCE VAMIKA TO THE WORLD

While the star couple requested the media to respect their privacy and didn’t share any photo of their baby girl, they posted a photo of themselves holding the little munchkin to reveal her name. In an Instagram post, they revealed that they have named her Vamika. Anushka wrote, “We have lived together with love , presence and gratitude as a way of life but this little one, Vamika has taken it to a whole new level ! Tears, laughter, worry, bliss – emotions that have been experienced in a span of minutes sometimes ! Sleep is elusive but our hearts are SO full. Thanking you all for your wishes, prayers and good energy (sic).”

On January 11, Anushka Sharma and Virat Kohli welcomed their daughter at Mumbai’s Breach Candy hospital. Proud father Virat Kohli took to Twitter to share the news. With a heart emoticon, Virat wrote, “We are thrilled to share with you that we’ve been blessed with a baby girl this afternoon. We thank you all for your love, prayers, and good wishes. Anushka and the baby are both healthy and we are feeling beyond blessed to start this new chapter of our lives. We hope that you can respect our privacy at this time. Love, Virat (sic).”

Anushka Sharma and Virat Kohli had tied the knot in December 2017 in Tuscany, Italy. Pictures from their dreamy wedding were the talk of the town that year. Vamika is their first child.
