MP Horror! Sarpanch, His Brother Brtually Assault Youth, Break His Arms & Legs Over Complaint About Sale Of Illicit Liquor In Jabalpur Village

Jabalpur (Madhya Pradesh): In a horrifying incident, a youth in Jabalpur was brutally assaulted, attacked with heavy rocks by a Sarpanch and his brothers for informing police about the duo’s illegal practices of selling illicit liquor in the village, on Monday.

Not only this, when the victim was being taken to hospital for treatment, all the accused even vandalised the car and fired bullets to scare the villagers.

As per reports, the victim has sustained severe injuries all over his body. Both of his arms and legs have been fractured and he was left unconscious after the assault.

As soon as informed, police reached the spot and registered FIR against the Sarpanch and his bothers under relevent sections of BNS with Shahpura police station.

According to information, Ajit Patel lodged a complaint against Sarpanch Durgesh Patel and his brother Umesh Patel in Shahpura police station regarding sale of illegal liquor in the village.

Angry, Sarpanch and his brother beat Ajit black and blue after finding him alone on Monday.

When Ajit tried to escape, the duo dropped heavy rocks on both of his arms and legs and fled the spot. Following the assault, Ajit tragically fell unconscious on ground.

His neighbour saw him and decided to take him to the hospital. Meanwhile on their way, Durgesh, along with Umesh and one other associate attacked them and allegedly opened fire on the car.

This left the neighbour injured and Ajit sustained even more injuries. Later, they vandalised the car and escaped. The car was almost destroyed.

Upon ruckus, the nearby people informed the police. The two injured were taken to the nearby hospital where their treatment is going on at present. Ajit has sustained several severe injuries on his body.

The police have registered an FIR with the Shahpura police station and have started a search for all the accused. The police assured strict action against the them once they are under police custody.
