3 મે સુધી નહીં ચાલે કોઈ પણ પેસેન્જર ટ્રેન
દેશમાં કોરોનાનો કહેર સતત વધી રહ્યો છે ત્યારે પીએમ મોદીએ આજે લૉકડાઉનમાં છૂટછાટ આપવાના બદલે લૉકડાઉન 2.0ને 3 મે સુધી લંબાવ્યું છે. પીએમ મોદીના લૉકડાઉન લંબાવવાના નિર્ણયને અને સોશ્યલ ડિસ્ટન્સિંગને ધ્યાનમાં રાખીને રેલ્વે વિભાગે પણ તમામ પેસેન્જર ટ્રેનને 3 મે સુધી બંધ રાખવાનો નિર્ણય લીધો છે.
આ તમામ રેલ સેવામાં પ્રીમિયમ ટ્રેન, મેલ/ એક્સપ્રેસ ટ્રેન, પેસેન્જર્સ ટ્રેન, ઉપનગરીય ટ્રેન, કોલકત્તા મેટ્રો રેલ, કોંકણ રેલ્વે સહિત ભારતની તમામ રેલ સેવાઓ 3 મે સુધી બંધ રહેશે.
હાલમાં દેશમાં કોરોનાના કુલ કેસની સંખ્યા 10363ને પાર છે જ્યારે કુલ મૃત્યુઆંક 339 છે. ગુજરાતમાં પણ કેસમાં સતત વધારો થયો હોઈ હાલમાં દેશવાસીઓને કોઈ પણ છૂટછાટ આપવામાં આવી નથી. આ સમયે સાવચેતીના ભાગ રૂપે આ ટ્રેનને બંધ રાખવાનો નિર્ણય લેવાયો છે.
