Amitabh Bachchan keeps fans updated through his blog. Big B had been sharing updates about the COVID care center in Juhu that he had donated to, and also wrote about his contribution amid the COVID-19 crisis. Now, in his latest blog post, Amitabh Bachchan wrote about the havoc created by Cyclone Tauktae that hit Mumbai. He shared that his office, named Janak, was flooded on Monday as the cyclone crossed Mumbai. He also wrote about his staff members who got drenched as they were repairing the damages, and shared that he gave them T-shirts from his own wardrobe.
In his blog post, Amitabh Bachchan wrote, “There is an eerie silence in the midst of the Cyclone .. the pounding and the lashing rains all day .. trees fell, leakages all over , flooding in the vulnerable Janak Office .. impromptu plastic cover sheets still in prep for the heavy Monsoon rain , ripped apart .. sheds and shelters for some staff blown away ..BUT the spirit of fight impregnable .. all hands on deck .. stepping out , repairing , preventing helping in extenuating circumstances drenched .. but on it.”
Amitabh Bachchan then wrote about his staff being simply amazing as they continued to work on the damages even though their uniforms were drenched from the rains. He then mentioned that he offered them his own t-shirts of Abhishek Bachchan’s Pink Panthers team.
“Staff simply amazing in such conditions .. their uniforms wet and dripping but they continue .. gave them dress changes urgently in this strife , from my own wardrobe and now they proudly move about as Chelsea and Jaipur Pink Panther supporters
