સુરતમાં પોલીસ અને કામદારો વચ્ચે ઘર્ષણ સર્જાયું હતું. વતન જવાની જીદે ચઢેલા કામદારોએ પોલીસ પર પથ્થરમારો કર્યો હતો.જેમાં બે પોલીસ કર્મીઓ ઇજાગ્રસ્ત થયા હતા. જેને સારવાર અર્થે હોસ્પિટલમાં ખસેડવામાં આવ્યા હતા.
મળતી માહિત અનુસાર ડિંડોલી ઠાકોર નગરમાં શાકભાજી લેવા નીકળેલા ચારથી પાંચ લોકોને PCR વાનના પોલીસ કર્મચારીઓએ ઉભા રાખી દંડાવાળી કરતા મામલો ઉગ્ર બન્યો હતો. આસપાસની સોસાયટીના રોષે ભરાયેલા લોકો રાહદારીઓની મદદે દોડી આવ્યા હતા અને પોલીસ સાથે ઘર્ષણ કરતા સામ સામે થઈ ગયા હતા. જેમાં બે પોલીસ કર્મીઓ ઇજાગ્રસ્ત થયા હતા. જેને સારવાર અર્થે હોસ્પિટલમાં ખસેડવામાં આવ્યા હતા.
આ ઉપરાંત ખજોદમાં તૈયાર થઈ રહેલા એશિયાના સૌથી મોટા ડાયમંડ બુર્સ ડ્રીમ પ્રોજેકટના મજૂરો આજે ફરી વિફર્યા હતા. જણાવીએ કે મેનેજમેન્ટ અને કોન્ટ્રાકટર સામે રોષે ભરાયેલા મજૂરોએ ઓફિસ સુરક્ષા કેબીન સહિત અન્ય સામાનમાં તોડફોડ તોડફોડ કરી હતી. સાથે સાથે વતન જવાની માંગ પણ કરાઈ હતી. ઘટનાને પગલે મોટી સંખ્યામાં પોલીસ કાફલો તૈનાત કરી દેવામાં આવ્યો છે.
